Meet your instructor

Ana Ruhge,
Founder & Instructor

Certified in Pilates • Barre • Core • Functional Fitness

Hi, I’m Ana, founder of Be Well Mat & Chair Pilates. Fitness and movement have been part of my life for more than 20 years, supporting me through different seasons of life, including two pregnancies, motherhood, busy schedules, and the changes that come with getting older.

I created Be Well because I believe movement shouldn’t feel like a privilege. With our lives becoming busier and more sedentary, taking care of our bodies is more important than ever.

Whether you want to build strength, improve balance and flexibility, move better for the activities you love, or simply feel better in your body, I want to help you make movement part of your life.

Move well. Feel strong. Be well.

Common questions

Asked &
answered.

Do I need to be in good shape to start?

No — you don’t need to be at any particular fitness level to begin. Sessions can be personalized to your general fitness goals, experience and preferences. Some circumstances may be outside Be Well’s scope.

What if I have a medical condition?

Your safety comes first. Be Well provides general fitness instruction and does not determine whether exercise is medically appropriate for you. If you have a medical condition, recent procedure, significant pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, fall history, pregnancy-related concern, or other health concern, consult an appropriate licensed healthcare professional before participating. Medical clearance may be required, and some circumstances may be outside our scope.

What should I do if I have pain or another concerning symptom?

Exercise can involve exertion, soreness, loss of balance, falls, strains, and other injury. Stop immediately and notify your instructor if you experience pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, unusual shortness of breath, weakness, or another concerning symptom. Seek appropriate medical care when needed.

How quickly will I see results?

Individual experiences vary based on health, attendance, activity level, goals, and other factors. Be Well does not guarantee any particular result or timeframe.

Where do sessions happen?

Private sessions happen wherever works for you — in your home, at a private studio space, or in a community room.
